House Rules

1: Hours
Usual hours are 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
2: Members
Those in "good standing" (dues paid) are welcome.
3: Guests
House guests of members are welcome. "House Guest" is a person or family staying in a member’s home on an occasional basis. Guests must be accompanied by a MSSC member to utilize the facility. Skiing friends or relatives who have homes or lodging in the valley will need to join the club in order to use the clubhouse.
4: Youth Members
- Youth members include those age 19 or under and those in Racing, Freestyle, and Snowboard prgrams, as well as MSA students.
- All program participants must follow the MSSC rules and regulations.
- All competition participants must be an MSSC member.
5: Member Duties
General Responsibilities:
Please be respectful of the MSSC facilities and its members. Generally quiet conversations and appropriate manners are appreciated by all.
In consideration of other members and the safety of all, please have children refrain from running, from playing on the steps, and from general horseplay in the clubhouse.
Lunch Room
- Tables may not be reserved.
- One person per chair. Coats should be hung on hooks or on the backs of chairs, not thrown across tables.
- Please clear all tables when you are finished eating, and wipe any spills.
- Trash and recycling should be placed in containers provided.
- Cubbies are intended for lunch baskets and other daily storage. Loose boots and other large items should be placed below cubbies.
- Bags and equipment may not be left under tables.
Adult Lounge
- This lounge is restricted to adults and children accompanied by an adult. (Adult is anyone age 18 or older)
- No food or beverage is allowed.
- Please keep this area neat at all times.
Youth Lounge
- No horseplay or rough conduct.
- Use of inappropriate language/profanities/action is prohibited.
- Please keep this area neat at all times.
Family Locker Room
- MSSC is not responsible for personal property in locker room.
- Locker rentals are for members only.
- Large lockers require family membership.
- As needed, a locker waiting list will be maintained by the ski club office manager.
- Annual member/locker renewal fees are due on or before November 1st. Any lockers not renewed by November 1st will be re-assigned to members on the waiting list.
- All personal belongs should be placed in lockers, cubbies, or hung on hooks in the locker room, not left on the floor or benches.
- Cubbies cannot be used for overnight storage.
- Skis/equipment should not be left unattended overnight.
Competitor's Locker Room
- Use of locker room is permitted for Ski Club members only, either through a Family Membership or Competitor's Membership.
- Any equipment found in unassigned cubbies will be removed.
- No writing on, taping, stickering, or defacing cubbies in any way.
- No removing partition or damaging cubbies.
- Removing, damaging, or inappropriately handling other athlete's equipment is strictly prohibited.
- Keep bags, boots, shoes and other personal items in front of individual cubbies.
- No food, coolers, bicycles, etc, should be left in the locker room.
- Locker room is intended for ski and snowboard equipment only.
- Please keep the area neat and orderly.
- No fighting, pushing or rough conduct in the locker room.
- No skateboarding allowed.
